Changing the Default Internet Browser in Windows 7

For many safety reasons at our work, we have several internet browsers (Chrome, Opera, Internet Explorer, Firefox and even Safari) of which for us the most important tool is Opera, however, the problem appear because now the links suddenly started to opening each others in the main Windows Internet Explorer browser instead of Opera... This has become disturbing since all the important links had began to withdraw directly to Internet Explorer recognizing him as the default system internet browserIf this situation happened also to you then you should know that in Windows 7, you can always easily change default internet browser :

Step 1 : Go to the Start Menu button, then left click on option "Default Programswhich is located on the right side of the menu. Wait till the new screen appears...

Step 3 : List of your programs including the all internet browsers should be now displayed on the left side of the screen. Select browser which you want to be your default (in my case it is Opera just for example) and then press "Set this program as default". IMPORTANT : Sometimes after setting up your default internet browser, in the future it will not only open happen to open internet files but also and other stuffs such as .pdf documents or even some music-video extensions. In that case you can always change your settings for each type of extension by going back at Set Default Programs menu and then after selecting default browser program clicking on "Choose defaults for this program". Screen with the extensions will appear and from there you can check the ones that will be opened by your browser as a default.

Delete Facebook Views And Search History

Since I already posted my several previous texts about security on the internet and dealt with the issue of privacy in different online services now it is time to speak little bit more about Facebook Search history and how you can manage it. Every time when you search for a names, groups or pages on Facebook Search board, results will always stay recorded so that next time this can help you with finding a better termsOf course, sometimes we just want to delete recorded Facebook Search history and things which we were looking for in the past, because of different personal reasons. You can actually delete all history in a few very simple steps :

IMPORTANT : Before start of this tutorial you should first log into your own Facebook Profile because otherwise you will not be able to follow these instructions that are available only to users.

Step 1 : After you successfully log into your own Facebook profile it is necessary to make a left click on Facebook Search board. When the list of people and recent page searches open in the menu below, it is necessary to click on EDIT link at the right side.

Step 2 : On the page that just opens, you will see results of your searches on Facebook in the previous period. MISTAKE : Deleting browsing history on Facebook will not erase any history on Google SearchAlso Facebook will continue to track your searches which are made on this social network so it is good that from time to time you check privacy settings and erase search history from previous period
